Balls at the Wall
Sunday 12/1 from 2 - 4 PM at Maha Yoga Studio
Intimidated by those difficult- looking inversions + arm balances? Ever feel too tight / stiff to reach ‘that’ variation of a pose? This is the workshop for you! We will use tennis balls and the wall as supportive tools to release tension and access more space and strength in our bodies and yoga postures! Together, we’ll break down those intimidating poses into more familiar-feeling shapes, using support from the wall. We will explore different ways into the shapes that normally just seem a little out of reach to prove to ourselves that in life, when you feel stuck, sometimes you just need to approach a challenge from a different angle completely!
All levels welcome. Bring your open mind, self-loving heart and any questions you might have.
Self Care Sunday
Sunday 11/3 from 2 - 4 PM at Maha Yoga Studio
Join me for self-care that goes beyond skin-deep. We will employ therapy balls and other self-massage tools to release excess tension in our bodies so that we can relax in the following restorative yoga poses more fully. These practices allow us to nurture our nervous systems, regulate stress responses and relax enough to recharge more effectively. That sounds like a self-care Sunday!
